築5年。いわゆる分譲住宅。

暮らす上では、何の支障もなく思える。

でも、リノベーション工事着工させていただきました。

なかなか分譲住宅では、満足行かないところが多いとのこと。

LDKプランを少し変え、収納容量を多く、そして、無垢材や、珪藻土の仕上げ材を使い…。

『何の支障もない』というところに、造る側も力が入る。

20ｃｍのリノベーション。

着工前、施主のお母さんから「工事は2週間で終わりますかね？終わらないんだったら2週間後に着工でもいいのですが。」と。

分譲住宅のLDKの内装、ｷｯﾁﾝ周りの家具工事。

どう工程を組んでも、カツカツの2週間。

「すいません、ぎりぎりなので、2週間後の着工にしましょうか。で、2週間後には何があるんですか？」

すると、「息子の誕生日なんです。」

その言葉を聞いた瞬間、僕のエンジンがかかる。

「やっぱ、やらせてください。」

短期工程では、少しのミスが後々引きずる経験がものを言う。着工前の協力業者さんに協力いただき、できるだけ多くの問題をたたきだし、何度も図面、材料拾い、工程を確認。

協力業者さんに頑張っていただき、竣工を迎えた。

以前あった、キッチンとダイニングの間の腰壁は、20ｃｍ低い家具に変わり、今年1年生になった息子の宿題を見守るお母さん。

そして、誕生日を迎える。

We slightly changed the LDK plan, increased the storage capacity, and used solid wood and diatomaceous earth finishing materials.

The creators also put effort into the idea that “there will be no hindrances.”

Before the construction started, the client’s mother asked, “Will the construction be finished in two weeks?If not, we could start construction in two weeks.”

Interior work for the LDK of a condominium and furniture work around the kitchen.

No matter how you set up the process, it’s a long two weeks.

“I’m sorry, but it’s last minute, so let’s start construction in two weeks. So, what will happen in two weeks?”

Then she said, “It’s my son’s birthday.”

The moment I heard those words, my engine started.

“Please let me do it.”

In short-term processes, the experience of how small mistakes can lead to problems later on is important. Before construction began, we asked our subcontractors to help us identify as many problems as possible, and repeatedly checked drawings, material selection, and processes.

Thanks to the hard work of our subcontractors, we were able to complete the construction.

The old waist wall between the kitchen and dining room has been replaced with 20cm lower furniture, and a mother is watching her son, who entered first grade this year, do his homework.

And then it’s my birthday.
