「もう、なんでもいいんで。津波の避難用の家だから。」

ふたりで洋食屋さんを営まれ、将来の津波に備え、いまある串本町の家とは別に家を建てたいということ。

夫婦二人のための小さな家のお話がはじまった。

どんな家にするか。敷地調査、プラン、打ち合わせを重ねる。

ちょうどよい敷地に、必要最低限の部屋、設備を考えた機能的なプラン。

予算についても、できるだけ安くできるように、使うものを吟味した。

基礎工事も完了し、いよいよ上棟をひかえたころ、

「ちょっと色を塗ってみました！こんなんでどうですかね？」

そこには、絵具で塗られた外観図面。

近所の文房具屋さんで、絵具を購入し調色しているのを想像すると、避難用から終の棲家に変わり、仲良く計画するご夫婦が少しうらやましくも感じ、ええもんにしたい気持ちが、もっと強くなった。

１２坪の平屋です。ふたりにはちょうどよい大きさ。

でもこんな家、いいなと思うし、またある意味これからの家ではなかろうか、とも思う。

小さいけれど、機能的で、可変性があり、しっかり施主さんの思いが詰まった家。

そんな小さな家ができました。

Regarding the budget, we carefully considered the items we would use to make it as cheap as possible.

When the foundation work was completed and the building was about to be erected,

“I tried coloring it a little! What do you think about this?”

When I imagine buying paint and mixing colors at a local stationery shop, I feel a little envious of the couple who are planning so harmoniously for the transition from an evacuation site to a final home, and I feel even more strongly that I want to make it a real home. became.

It is a one-story house of 12 tsubo. Just the right size for two.

But I think this kind of house is nice, and in a sense, I think it’s the kind of house we want in the future.

Although the house is small, it is functional, flexible, and filled with the owner’s thoughts.
