We carefully considered usability, the seismic design that we had carried out along with the design, the location of the new foundation and load-bearing walls, and also considered cost and ease of construction. The question is balance. We also put a lot of effort into insulation work, ensuring that there are no gaps between the floors, walls, and ceiling. The plan is to complete living on the first floor, with the second floor being a private room for future use.
