堺市立博物館、堺市堺区大仙公園内にある人文科学系の博物館。

知り合いの１１土designさんからお声かけいただき、家具の制作、納入させていただく計画です。

模型の段階から、図面へ、店舗系のお仕事の流れです。

デザイン性と使い勝手と構造。

基本は住宅と同じ、いろんな角度から計画を練りながら実物のイメージを育ててきました。

施工的には難易度が高く、まさに家具工事。

使用するのは、シナ集積合板、1枚1枚交差する部分、目地を入れる部分、それで構造を成り立たせるにはどんな加工が必要なのか、

何度も打ち合わせ、確認を繰り返し、いざ仮組。

組めることを確認すると、ミツロウワックス塗り、そして、現場で組み立てへ。

一般の方に見られる、公共性の高い建築物の中で作り上げる家具は、またいつもの緊張感とは違った緊張感があり、

難しかった分、出来上がった時のうれしさや安堵感は大きいもの。

Sakai City Museum, a humanities museum located in Daisen Park, Sakai Ward, Sakai City. We are planning to produce and deliver furniture after being contacted by our friend 11 Sat Design. This is the flow of work in a store, from the model stage to the drawings. Design, usability, and structure. The basics are the same as with a house, and we have cultivated an image of the real thing while developing plans from various angles. In terms of construction, the difficulty level is high, and it is exactly like furniture construction. What we use is plywood, where each sheet intersects, where joints are made, and what kind of processing is required to make the structure work. After many meetings and confirmations, a temporary team was formed. Once we confirmed that it could be assembled, we applied beeswax and then assembled it on site. Furniture created in a highly public building that can be seen by the general public has a different sense of tension than usual. As difficult as it was, I felt a great sense of joy and relief when it was completed. Please take a look.
